Shipping Goals

Your goal is to cure concrete that meets all quality thresholds. When you ship, your batch is evaluated on:

ACCURACY How closely your actual surface temperature tracked the target curve. Higher is better — aim for ≥ 0.85 for maximum payout.

MPa ≥ 20 Concrete must reach at least 20 MPa compressive strength before shipping. MPa builds over time following a logarithmic curve — be patient.

Your shipment will be REJECTED with zero payout if any of these occur:

SURFACE ≥ 70°C Surface temperature must never reach 70°C at any point during curing.

CORE-SURFACE Δ ≥ 20°C The difference between core and surface temperature must never reach 20°C.

ROC ≥ 25°C The rate of change over an 80-interval window must never reach 25°C.

Heater

🔥 HEATER Adds heat to the curing bed surface. Essential during the rising phase to help your surface temperature track the target curve upward. Run at lower power levels (25–75%) for finer control. Costs $22/interval at 100% — scales with power level. Be careful: overuse can push you into the 70°C danger zone.

Tarp

🛡 TARP Insulating blanket that slows heat loss and retains warmth. Takes time to ramp up to full effectiveness. During the rise, tarp helps hold gained heat. During decline, tarp slows cooling — use lower tarp levels if the surface is cooling too slowly. Removing the tarp lets heat escape faster. Free to use but critical to manage.
